The Foundation also seeks to promote research in the evaluation and management of these disorders. |
Lower Extremity Update 2019 is a two day conference for physical therapists, physical therapist assistants, athletic trainers, nurses, physician assistants, and physicians interested in learning the latest concepts and research related to evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of lower extremity disorders. There are smaller group hands-on workshops. You will be able to indiciate your first, second, and third choices in order of preference each day. Space is limited and workshop assignment will be made in the order of receipt of paid registration only. Registration and Hotel Information: Registrations postmarked/received on or before November 1st: $425.00 Registrations postmarked/received after November 1st: $475.00 Registration includes downloadable course handouts, continental breakfast each day, and refreshments at breaks. Registrants will receive an email with a link to download the handouts 3 days prior to the course. There will be power strips available for individuals viewing the handouts on their portable device. Cancellation Policy: POSRF will offer a full refund if cancellation is received prior to November 1st. A $35 processing fee will be assessed for written cancellations received between November 1st and 15th. No refunds will be honored after November 15th. Accreditation Information: All participants will receive a certificate for 15 hours or 1.5 CEU's upon completion of the course. Applications for approval have been submitted to the following state boards of physical therapy: Pennsylvania State Board of Physical Therapy: Approved 15 hours (11.5 Gen, 3.5 Direct Access) - # PTPR014675 Maryland State board of Physical Therapy: 15 hours Some states do not require pre-approval of out of state courses. In addition, some states accept courses that have been approved by another state board. Please check with your state board for their requirements.
